- Windsor Castle – located in leafy Windsor, the castle is official residence to the Queen and is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world.
- Churchill War Rooms – Located in the heart of Westminster, the Churchill war rooms will teach you all you ever wanted to know about the great man himself and the events that made him.
- Tate modern – Sitting on the banks of the Thames is the Tate Modern, Britain’s centre of contemporary art. Always many great exhibitions on display and entry is free.
- Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – visit the playhouse for which Shakespeare, Britain’s greatest writer, once wrote. Try the guided tours or watch a play at the theatre.
