Rome, Italy

The life in Rome may be extremely hot and lazy, and going out for a walk to enjoy the cool night might be the thing plenty of Roman people like to do. In Rome, the night clubs will let you feel the beat and rhythm of the city, while walking in the Piazza Navona to see the incredible fountain is also a good choice. The collosseum is another must see.

Hallstatt, Austrian Salzkammergut

Hallstatt is a small village which doubles up as a great place for music, and is a great place to relax in Austria. Lush mountains and fairy-tale villages are great places for hiking. What’s more, life here is relaxed and the people are hospitable. However, I'd recommend avoiding August as it can be excessively busy.

Hydra Island, Greece

Hydra Island is one of the perfect islands in Greece. It takes less than two hours to get here from Athens so is fairly accessible. There is only one small town on the island, no established roads, and few cars making for an incredibly relaxing holiday. Water taxis will take you to the remote beach where you will be in heaven.

The Cotswolds in England

The Cotswolds are located Northwest of London. There are sprawling hills and beautiful countryside, and dozens of picturesque villages. The region has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The weather may be unpredictable being England but the scenery more than makes up for it.

Istanbul, Turkey

Vendors are shouting and negotiating on the street, and the old markets are full of surprises and excitement. The busy Kapalle market attracts many international tourists every year and is one of the best shopping destinations here. Be prepared for a good haggle.
